Words of condolence from Jamia Al-Karam
As the world comes to terms with the passing away of his eminence, Shaykh-ul-Alam Hazrat Pir Muhammad Alauddin Siddiqui (Allah have mercy on his soul), we share in this pain extending condolences to all, in particular his family. Verily we are for Allah, and to Him we are to return. Let us reflect on the divine verses addressing the righteous soul: “O you tranquil soul! Return to your Lord, well-pleased with Him and He with you. So enter amongst My righteous servants, and enter My Paradise.” [89:27-30]
Shaykh Pirzada attends funeral prayer held in Birmingham
Upon hearing of the sad news of the passing away of Hazrat Shaykh-ul-Alam Pir Muhammad Alauddin Siddiqui (ra) before the Friday Prayer on 3 February 2017, the founder of Jamia Al-Karam, Shaykh Muhammad Imdad Hussain Pirzada, immediately departed for Birmingham following the prayer, where he spent the day with the family, relatives and followers of Pir Alauddin Siddiqui (ra).
The following morning, thousands gathered at the Aston Park in Birmingham to pay their respects and attend the Funeral Prayer of Pir Alauddin Siddiqui (ra). This was the same park where Pir Alauddin Siddiqui (ra) had consistently held the large Mawlid Gatherings in honour of the sublime Messenger (upon him be peace) for the past few years. On this day, however, the world bid farewell to a towering influential scholar and spiritual leader at the same location. Shaykh Pirzada delivered a few words prior to the Funeral Prayer, which was led by the son of Pir Alauddin Siddiqui (ra), Sahibzada Noor-ul-Arifeen Siddiqui.
Later on, following the Funeral Prayer, the family and followers of Pir Alauddin Siddiqui (ra) departed for Pakistan with his body. Shaykh Pirzada too made immediate arrangements and departed for Pakistan in order to pay his final respects there.
